Plethora of 2005 WNBA draft articles
Thursday 14 April 2005
Thanks to all who trawled the web for these articles. I have decided to collect them here for convenience's sake.
storm.wnba.com analyses the 2 guards and the small forwards
Interviews with Feenstra and Kraayeveld
Haynie is looking forward towards the draft
McCarville will be a top 2 pick. Everybody feigns shock.
Wecker will be a top 4 pick (more feigned shock). Laurie Koehn just wants to play - whether it's in the WNBA or overseas. Wecker gets the inevitable comparison to Katie Smith, which I don't think is quite right. They do have a physical similarity but Wecker doesn't have Katie's perimeter game.
Van Chancellor waffles on about something.
Shock think about drafting Haynie, Johnson, Braxton, Lyttle, Batteast yadda yadda (basically anybody not in the anointed top 4)
Mechelle Voepel repeats stuff we've already heard (it's not your fault Mechelle, it's just that other columnists got in before you)
