Final round of the WNBL completed

Canberra beats the AIS midweek. Donna Loffhagen, who turned down the Connecticut Sun to play netball, had a seasons best performance of 26 points and 11 rebounds (in an entirely meaningless game, no less!). Has Angela Marino even shot above 40% in a SINGLE game this season?
Adelaide beats Dandenong in another entirely meaningless game (all finals sports have been decided already). Apparently this means Flames fans should be scared. Not that the Flames will take the Lightning lightly after their crappy performance in Sydney last time around but dead rubber games are nothing to get too excited about (and Gary Fox was schmoozing),
Sydney beats Townsville, despite record setting Belinda Snell going 3/19 from the field (no that wasn't the record setting performance!). Trish Fallon has been a wonderful addition to the Sydney lineup with her efficient scoring and veteran presence but I wish she'd be a bit more assertive in the paint, like Shelley Hammonds was. Townsville holds a team to below 70 (they're the worst defensive team in the league this year, giving up 75+ points a game), but can't conjure up enough offence to win.
The AIS thrash Perth. Ho-hum.
Adelaide beat the AIS. Laura Summerton and Jenni Screen go off. Erin Phillips - the athletic Lindsay Whalen with the Lake Jones hops and jumpshot!
Dandenong beat Perth by only 15 (must've been on cruise control all game!). Nice to see Narelle Henry back in the WNBL. I've always liked her game and maybe under a new regime, she can flourish on the Lynx (yeah yeah, WISHFUL THINKING)
