Detroit are in a bit of a slump at the moment but they take on the hapless SASS who lack post D and shoot worse from the perimeter than Detroit (SASS is last, Detroit are 11th).

So I guess this means a NY win...?
Phoenix 72 Minnesota 62
The result of this game hinges on post play IMHO. Plenette, Bobo and the rest of the Mercury posts will have to step up their game to stop Ohlde, Tamika Williams and Hayden. I think they can do this and also the Mercury will outgun the Lynx from the perimeter and they will relish their first home game after a tough road trip.
Sacramento 71 Washington 65
Sac have been Jekyll and Hyde this season with everyone bar Yo Griffith being erratic. Washington's form has improved lately but they're playing the second game of a back to back and it's the night after a tough OT loss. The Mystics may be motivated but I think the Sac posts can limit Holdsclaw and Washington's perimeter is too erratic to exploit Sacramento's deficiency in this department.
