The latest Storm training camp notebook
Two little notes:
* Greco was out with an injury hence her sparse minutes. It will be interesting to see the distribution of minutes in Phoenix this weekend.
* The Storm is interested in Sheila Lambert. This isn't a surprise as Anne was keen on Lambert in the 2002 draft (to the point of getting involved in a very dodgey trade with the Lynx to ensure the Sting would get her) and Seattle is Lambert's hometown though. Donovan is probably looking at Lambert as a potential long-term point guard backup with 2004 being Bevilaqua's swansong in the WNBA.
Lambert has some talent but getting cut from the point guard poor Mercury isn't a strong endorsement. Her attitude is apparently a significant hurdle to overcome.
